Yeah man....yeah.

I don't want to engage the rational, empathetic parts of my brain as I'm a titaholic, but I also don't want to sound like some of the frankly weirdo sounding guys with the whole "destroyed herself" "multilation" "she was special...not anyone" etc. I might feel a supressed and/or less pejorative version of those feelings but...well I'm not sure what I'm saying.

I used to feel greatly aggrieved at many of the reductions. Now it's more of a great(er or lesser) irritation, like "that's a shame." Occasionally I see some true divinely crafted masterpiece disappear and feel a pang of regret. Like something truly awe inspiring was deliberately removed.

See! Here I am not considering the legitimate reasons for the BR.

Agreed though.

Before: Super-Duper Hot.
After: super hot. (no capitals.)

I can say that before they had a pleasing beauty to them.

This section can spark some discussions in the main General Discussion forum about female insecurity, bodily ambivalence, societal perceptions and it's shaping of self image, etc. Reason I say that is it's obvious that big tits aren't seen as we see 'em.

Your comment about your now wife kinda reaffirmed my newer way of thinking.

Well, how we see them (at least many people who like big boobs) are part of the problem.

Sure, many reductions are done for legitimate medical reasons including back pain.

But one of the biggest insecurity girls have is the attention their breasts give them. No matter where they go or what they wear guys will sexulize them. Their breasts always draw unwanted attention. And for many girls, they don't want this. And how they dress is not for your pleasure or "asking for it".

I know a girl who personally got a reduction just because she didn't want the unwanted attention everywhere she went or everytime she posted a picture online. Another girl I follow online says she wants to get a reduction for the same reason.

We have to remember, most of the people who post on social media are just regular girls. Not porn stars. They aren't seeking attention nor do they want it. Don't slide into their DMs, hit on them or comment on that assets. Because if you do, they likely will be insecure about it and stop posting.

I was under the impression that most people who post "selfies" on these social media sites were actually looking for attention-- usually to elicit validation from others. I mean it's all very "look at me." Or "look what I'm doing now." The majority are definitely not sharing chocolate cookie recipes on those platforms.

Yes, there are certainly those that do care about followers. That is certainly one facet of social media.

But others are just there to log their life. They are posting the pictures for themselves and their friends as memories. It's this women that I'm talking about.

echoing what reasonable folks above have said.... people are complicated. They want to be recognized for who they are, not for the two huge bags of fat that they are carrying around on their chests.

My entire post above was about confidence… not “how they want to be recognized”. A confident person will embrace who they are, love it and own it. Simply put.

I think that’s… a reasonable statement… no?
 
Definitely reasonable, and true of some models. A couple that seem very body-positive recently are Ariana Faith and MyCatsMother. Another one was JuicyJade/LoloSavo. She did so much talking that you could get a pretty good idea of how her mind works. She liked her huge breasts and definitely understood the effect they had on guys, and she knew how to pose and use those things to her advantage. She seemed to have a very positive body image.

Nonetheless, she got the reduction. Didn't seem to be from a lack of confidence, but just not wanting to be that noticeable due to her rather conservative career choice.

Very fair calls. Love MyCatsMother… she is a class act indeed.

JuicyJade/LoloSavo is, I must say, one of the few FEW few examples of someone who legitimately needed a reduction (I can’t believe I just typed that haha). You are right she DEFINITELY exudes confidence, class, intelligence and all that jazz. Her tits were… legitimately too big… she is one of the only legit reductions I can agree with. So, she’s a bit of an outlier in this discussion. She was a freakin WARRIOR for sharing them with the community before she took the plunge! Much respect to her.

I’m referring to the chicks UNlike JuicyJade… that don’t genuinely need this. It’s a waste. And their lack of confidence is what makes it unattractive, more so than their new appearance. That’s all I’m saying.
