It is very easy to forget that practically all porn is an attempt to sell fantasy as reality. And naturally there are going to be examples where the reality of these "stars" lives is going to include problems be they emotional problems, physical health problems, substance abuse, etc.

I can see why "the industry" wants to perpetuate the impression that everything is light and fun - but obviously in some cases the lives of the participants in the industry is anything but.
