If you lift/keep fit, you've probably done this at least once. If you haven't, you should. You should know where you stand.

As I get older I worry more and more about my sexual health. Ever since I lost my job I haven't done much outside of applying for jobs, so there isn't much hurry for me to get out of bed. So what I'll do is try and rub one out before I start my day. But lately it's getting harder and harder to successfully rub it. And so I'm like "Nope, we're not getting out of bed until we finish this." Hours pass until something, if anything, happens.

It might be time for me to go in for another test. And if this sounds like you, you should get checked too.

Also make sure to watch lots of movies featuring Gianna Michaels, it will give you a stronger forearm.

I'm not a doctor, but sounds like you could be suffering from depression, which can definitely affect things. Start with the basics - getting a decent amount of sleep, eating right, lose weight if that's an issue, exercise, etc. If you are still having an issue then see a doctor. Also, is it just when you're flying solo or when you're with a partner?

I'm a strong believer that mental health and physical health are intimately interconnected. In that context I have always played/exercised through sport. Most of the training that I have done is endurance work (running, cycling, rowing). The years of training/participation has stood to me to the extent that I am now in my mid-50's and I am - touch wood - in far better shape that my friends/peers.
It does take real effort and dedication to maintain this well being. But it is worth it. I rarely get ill, I have lots of energy and most importantly I am content in myself and that contentment radiates into my relationships at home, at work.

The point I'm making here is that several years back one of my friends who was really out of shape at the time asked me for help to improve his fitness. We worked out a plan around his life, job, family life. We devised a training plan and an eating plan. We ensured he got a medical before he started so that we knew what training load his physical system could endure.

With effort and commitment, he turned his physical well being around 180 degrees. He was fully dedicated and adherent to the plan that we made. He became healthier and fitter. His physical appearance transformed and he felt better and happier in himself and in his interactions with his family, friends and work colleagues.

The point here is that one can improve at any age. You just have to be happy to be put the work in that is necessary to bring about that improvement. I would highly recommend getting a fitness regime plan and a nutrition plan and work hard to adhere to the plan. if you do you will see an improvement.
