An old issue has re-appeared in the last few days. The first link to a YouTube video is given an automatic preview.
This is so distracting in a list of links, giving undue prominence to the first link and is very wasteful of space. The EEW thread is very susceptible to this problem.
It is much better to add a MEDIA insert if a preview is required and place it where it is wanted.
This automatic function was unpopular a few years back and was thankfully removed.
Please can you stop the annoying new auto-preview for initial video links?
